Drawing from life. As I was walking through the graveyard, I saw the sakura tree had started blooming so I had to draw it. I love sakura because they're a sign of spring and new life

The japanese writing is: 花鳥風月 (literally meaning flower, bird, wind, moon) The quote is talking about the beauty of nature. 'Experience the beauties of nature, and in doing so learn about yourself.' I may have written the quote wrong/upside down or something. As you can guess I don't know japanese, but I love how it looks/sounds.

I used pencil, felt tip pen, and highlighter for this picture.
