Back in Middle and Highschool I used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and then my friend Adam brought me further into the myth of vampires. He introduced me to the awesomeness that was Hellsing. Alucard is such a badass.Then... Twilight came out. At first, I didn't know what it was. It was only a book I saw on the shelves. I thought the cover art was interesting though. Then the hype started. The movie was coming out and all the fans were making a huge deal about it. My friend Kristen and her sister were fans too, so they got me interested.
I figured since I'd see the movie for fun with my friends, I should read a bit of the book to get an idea of what was going on. .... I lasted ten chapters. =_=;; Even with great visualizations, the book was written as if it were a bad OC fanfiction.
As I watched the movie in the theatre (once and once only), I couldn't help but think what Alucard's reaction would have been to this rendition of Vampires.
... I think he'd want to rip them to pieces. >.>;;

what type of vampire sparkles...serriously? Maybe Twilight vampires wear some sort of cream to keep the sun off them...and it happens to be sparkly?

I got pulled into the hype of reading the first book, I dont remember how long I lasted, but it was when they revealed the "sparkling". At that point I closed the book, and just set it aside..I have yet to pick it up. Even when I clean my room, I just kinda...go around it b/c I dont really want to touch it. x.x
Though, despite it all there were two thing about the little bit of the book that I read that I actually liked. 1. Charlie. Maybe it's b/c I was raised w/o a father that I kinda liked him, but he would occasionally make me laugh.
2. The old truck. I like older model things, and I liked Charlie's way of calling it "new".
Despite my views on the book, Great job on the art. I have a feeling that Alucard woudn't think long about doing away with mr sparkles though. xD

I did like the truck and how the author described it. XD If she just kept to that good of writing I wouldn't have a beef against the book... alas, nothing was better than that beat up old truck...
