Thank you very much. I honestly had to rewrite this profile so many times. I kept going into details of his origin story and less on just an analysis of his personality.
I just love his origin story so much. It is so tragic and almost inspiring in a twisted way.

Indeed it is, the traditional and almost Shakespearian take on his origin is deep with tragic villian vibes and sometimes anti-hero

I'm with you there. I chose to pay homage to the Lazara story with Freeze working with Nyssa but without going into the actual Lazara story arc.
If I were to ever write my own take on the Batman mythos, Lazara would not happen.

If I pursued the conclusion of Freeze working with Nyssa, I would probably have Nora healed through the Lazarus Pit but the considerable time she had to spend inside it would temporarily drive her insane to the point that Freeze no longer recognizes his wife and questions everything he has done for her. When her insanity begins to dissipate and Nora sees what has become of her husband and the things he has done for her, she is also concerned.
Ultimately, Nora would realize that she cannot live with Victor and flees him. Heartbroken, Victor would ponder if there is purpose in his own existence without her and then his new intent would be to either cure himself of his condition or replicate his own accident in an attempt to allow Nora to become like him. Basically, do whatever he needed to do to be with Nora again.

I loved the Animated "solution", with Nora healed and Freeze decides to pass himself dead for her own good... ç_ç

I like your tragic "what if", especially because I wrote in 2014 a fanfiction about it and with the same pov (Unfortunately I'm italian and I don't know how to translate my script without losing quality >_<)

In my script there's no Lazarus Pit, simply Victor find a cure to Nora's mysterious disease (Cancer? Huntington's disease? McGraegor's Syndrome? In any comicbook they change it! >_<)
In the first time he decide to cure and awaken her in his laboratory in a fortress lost among the ice of Alaska, and he try to "live" with Nora, hiding her his crime spiral and searching for a cure for himself...
But soon he realizes that he cant heal himself and he will lost her again... because she's doomed to grow old an die, while he will live almost forever: "Always together; eternally apart", like Ladyhawke ^_-
Batman meanwhile investigates and he find the fortress: he has no bad intentions, but Freeze confront him with the ice gun, and Nora discovers the truth about that her husband is no longer Victor Fries, but a criminal and a murder...
Batman leaves, but stands guard, Victor and Nora try to clarify the situation: she forgives him, but they can't live toghether without suffering... and now he try to replicate his own accident! "Today I will make you Lady Freeze and we'll finally be free to walk hand in hand and love each other... Can you imagine anything more beautiful?"
The intervention of Batman save Nora, but Freeze is now determinated to complete his project...
"We will dance together, between the eternal ice in our cold exile and we'll be happy again ... for all eternity ..."

Yeah, a lot of my own take would be based on the Animated ending.

I personally like to go with Huntington's Chrorea for Nora's disease.

As for your fan-fic, looks interesting. I wish I knew Italian.

I always thought she had a rare disease, because Freeze's research are solitary and lonely works, if he is going to find the cure for Huntington's or cancer, everyone in the world should want to help and benefit...
