See it wasn't just the murder of his parents that drove Bruce to becoming Batman it was also that fact that the woman he first fell in love with and was gonna marry had to leave Gotham with her father cause of their problems with the mob as we learned from the movie BATMAN MASK OF THE PHANTASM

Andrea...oh you beautiful tragic villain, but it seems your playing the part of an anti-hero more so in this Earth and I rather like that. I also like that her connection to bruce not only holds most of MOP but does so whilst melding perfectly with your E27 continuity. I find it amazing that even here she could have been the woman to stop batman from existing which in turn could have prevented the phantasm...but sins of the father and all that. I am eager to see how the phantasm plays in all of this, oh boy!

Someone needs to rewatch the movie. She survives, leaves a locket for Bruce in the Batcave, and can be seen leaving Gotham on a boat right before credits roll.
