This is the good thing. I like this. If I had anything to improve upon, I would say maybe add a new enemy type later on to keep things fresh, or make a boss at stage 15 to give the player motivation to play that far. But really this is fun. I love it.

Fun game.
Also, heard that you lost the progress on the extended versions you've made. I'm sorry that you lost it.

I use Brave and the game works just fine. I love the Cirno sprite.
Any luck with create.swf extended?

I haven't been able to use my dying hard drive(seems like corruption or a hardware problem, either way recovering the data seems very unlikely), so a lot of stuff is gone. several months of work would have to be recreated to catch up an old copy of createX's code I still have.
I've not felt like going through that much work on it. It's about as much effort as making a new better create.swf lol.

Understand. There's still the current version of extended and we all appreciate the work you did on that.

Decent Game, but one flaw, the Camera is wonky as all hell.

I updated the game, and the camera is much better now.

Oh, enter pauses it! Ha ha ha... and here I thought you couldn't pause because I didn't see it on the opening screen (you might want to add that)
I'm impressed that you made something like this for Cirno day, and even as is, it's a pretty good game. I guess I'm going to, uh... review it?
Well, the first thing I noticed was how wildly the camera flew around, but I got used to it before long. I like how you can find upgrades in chests besides just health and point items. It made finding chests more meaningful, and there was a little burst of joy every time I got something good. At first the jumping felt really loose, and it seemed unusual how Cirno could fit through spaces apparently smaller than herself, but I came to appreciate these things as I realized that they (along with the ability to break some bricks) were probably insurance against unusual level generation. Even levels with seemingly bizarre platforming can usually be navigated without much issue. Overall, I think that the game is relatively balanced in that regard.
What isn't balanced is the late game. Once you have collected enough levels of extra defense, you're essentially invincible. Simply increasing enemy stats in later levels would kind of defeat the purpose of letting the player boost Cirno's stats (unless the goal is simply to make opening treasure chests a bigger priority), but I'm not quite sure how you would balance around that. This is compounded by the fact that running out of time does not constitute a loss unless you die while out of time. Since you're unlikely to ever die after a certain point, time ceases to matter.
The penalty for dying before time runs out (i.e. repawning at the level start and losing time) is good as is.
Since it says "Version: 0.1", that seems to imply you might update it in the future. If you do, my only real complaint is that later levels become too easy due to stat upgrades, and it ends up being more about the player's endurance in real life than their gaming skills. Overall, I still think it's pretty good, and appreciate that you took the time to make it.

Although I lost the source code, javascript is easy to edit so I was able to rebalance the game, while I was rebalancing it I noticed the ghost's bullets get stronger but not their contact damage that may have contributed a fair bit to becoming too indestructible as your defense goes up. Hopefully, the depth to the game has been improved and the experience won't get as dull when you start powering up a bunch.

Played it again just now, and it definitely seems improved. Nice work.
Maybe it's just my imagination, but there seems to be significantly more ghosts than before. This, combined with their properly scaling physical damage helped keep me on my toes. It may also be my imagination that ghost base health was reduced, but now scales with level. Either way, whatever you're doing now seems to be working.
I forgot to mention this in the initial comment, but either Cirno's bullets have some kind of smart aim, or very large hitboxes. Either way, this is really nice, since the first time I played I was worried that I wouldn't be able to hit anything due to the simplistic aiming, but those fears were unfounded.
Minor nitpick: It's a bit silly when enemies or the door key spawn directly on you at the start of a level. It doesn't happen often, though.

A bit after you posted this comment while I was testing the game I noticed the more verbose version of the game's script actually had a nearly complete copy of the source code, so after fixing it up, I have the code again.
Yeah, the hitboxes are quite generous. I put out another update and made the enemy/gold key spawn check for the player before spawning.

Yay! I bet that if Cirno was real, she'd love playing herself in a video game.

Although, real talk, the camera is so janky that I can't really play it.

I understand, it was a compromise due to how much I wanted to restrict the camera/map, my monitor doesn't do that well with the motion.

Even still, the effort that's gone into this thing is obvious.

dis gam is funz
Ok but really, fun game. I easily got to level 30 though with 4+ minutes tho. Personally I would try to make it slightly harder. Also, I don't think that using the ice actually does anything. And maybe give cirno a sword. Swords are cool. idk.

I've seen a lot of special Cirno Day artworks, but a retro-style roguelike takes the cake. It was a fun, engaging game, good for whiling away a multiple of nine minutes.
