Description
Create.swf extended has been updated. This is a new lighting system that makes use of the "Brightness" feature in the backgrounds menu.
Unlike the darkness gradient which simulates lighting by adding darkness, this adds an object(FX:Advanced lighting) that functions by actually removing the background(Brightness) darkness.
This means you can have many nearby lights without messy results.
Advanced lighting has the exact same shapes as the darkness gradient, but as i said, the shape removes the darkness generated by the "Brightness" setting.
Since this isn't a normal object you'll have to select it with the [] keys, the manipulator tool(M key) might be useful for positioning it.
There is an odd bug with this feature, where phantom lights will sometimes remain even after you move/delete it, the only way to get rid of these is to restart the program. I have suspicions that this issue might be a flash related bug and not necessarily a programming error on my end...

dont know if this is the proper place to mention this, but i swear sometimes the icon of a character on the box you click on the bottom of window to open up options doesnt load a characters hair properly, i.e. just loads the outline but now the actual hair itself.

So, will speech bubbles work well with this? Β From prior experience, speech bubbles + brightness slider = bad news.

No they dont, I've been considering what the best way to deal with it. I'll probably have to add some sort of lighting effect to the speech bubbles, but having the exact shape and taking the camera into the calculation wont make it a straight forward process.
