This type of infantry specializes in accurate and medium-long range shots. They cover their squad mates from advantageous positions, neutralizing the most dangerous enemies and keeping the enemy at bay.
Unlike a Sniper, their training focuses on squad work and their performance was more than satisfactory in their infantry role, so they would see action on all fronts.
ARMAMENT:
M17L: Designed after the DMR version of the Combat Rifle, this rifle uses the powerful 9.3 mm ammunition that is capable of piercing up to level 6 armor and severely damaging armored drones. The Republic equipped its Marksmans with these rifles 2 years before the war, when they became aware of the use of ground drones and body armor by their enemies.
To harness the full potential of this rifle, the STS sight was provided which sees enemies up to 2000 meters with great clarity. It also has a thermal display and status information to aid target detection and accuracy.
M50 S: A shortened version of the M50, it is a compact but deadly shotgun at close range. Although soldiers could equip themselves with a pistol, it was common to see them with these miniature shotguns in close combat.
MK17 Tactical knife: A subtle pocket knife, it uses an experimental heating system inside its blade to allow it to pierce all types of material without the need for physical force.

M35 Ceg: Stun grenade ideal for close combat.
M15 Smoke: Standard smoke grenade.
M12 Infantry Mine: A peculiar device, it works both as a motion sensor and as a ground explosive. Its sensor also allows it to activate the detonation only when a biological organism approaches it, making it undetectable with drones, but these can be detected by the sensor.
These units use it primarily to protect their rear.
APS 35: One of the most advanced and expensive devices, it allows the detection and sighting of targets up to the kilometer, information that is transmitted to the devices of its companions. It also creates a digital trace that communicates the projectile's path to the user with great accuracy.
