Goddamn this picture took too forever to finish! Finding good references for these characters was such a pain.

It’s truly sad how so many of hallucinations and experiences in Fran's Ultra reality point to her having depressive tendencies. There are quite a few times where you can take her dialogue to turn to something like 'I feel like dying'. The hooded figure we see in the window in the first chapter with Fran's severed head is the first incident where we see Fran either dead or being taken over/devoured as a corpse. And hello, Suicidal Fran even deals with guilt and trying to push her to jump to her death!

Am I the only one that noticed Queen Fran's head-piece might be in reference to Remor, where this hallucination could be a 'what if?' position where Fran completely embraces her 'dark' side? And that the Evil Mother hallucination had children with her that looked similar to the ones in the asylum?
