The only one of these I've never seen before was the M1903.  I've actually fired an M-1 Garand and the M-16 (not the AR-15 version).  Those are nice firing rifles.  I wish I could have afforded one when South Korea converted from the M-1 Garand to the M-16 and their M-1s became available for purchase here in the US.

1903s aren't too easy to find these days. I've had mine at least 12 years now.
And M1s are getting expensive. I was really, really lucky and scored mine for only $1100. More often, they go for double that.

The M-1 Garands that South Korea returned to the US were selling for around $300.00 back in the 1980s.  These were WW2 era Garands, too.  One I saw was manufactured by Singer Sewing Machine Company and one was manufactured by H&R, if I recall correctly.  I can't remember who manufactured the third one, though.  My friend, who's a firearm expert said the Singer one was worth, literally thousands of dollars (in 1980s dollars) simply because Singer didn't manufacture that many.

The person I bought my Garand off of told me that back in the 60s, when he first started with Garands, they were $186.
And the most valuable Garands tend to be the ones not made by major gun manufacturers. Other valuable ones are made by International Harvester and IBM.

Damn, my man. . . I hop on to upload a rifle pic, and you've uploaded a pic of 4. . .

So you got some Garand-action rifles now? Sweet!

Heh.
Doesn't that figure? X3

Indeed. I've fired the M14, but not the M1 yet....and I'm dying to do so. The M14 was flat out impressive.

I bet!

They must have cost a pretty penny- they look brand new. Fulton Armory?

I stole the Garand for $1100.
Basically, it was sheer luck, as I was at the biggest gunshow on the East Coast. Got it from a fellow who'd been restoring Garands since the 60's. Around here, Garands in rough shape have been going for double what I paid.

Both the Garand and the M14 are Springfield. The M14 is new out of the box, the Garand was made in 1944.

Ah, restored. Yeah you did steal that- A wartime produced gun to boot. . .lol You didn't have to give any firearms up for those, did you?

I'm assuming you're taking these two to your grave.

Sorry for the long delay.

And no, I didn't have to trade or give anything up to get them. An unexpected, yet well timed company wide bonus helped me get the Garand, and a long amount of saving up gor me the M14.

And yes, yes I am. XD

Gotta love those unexpected bonuses!

The first and only bonus my company ever gave me last year was a Visa gift card for $100. . . Only a few years ago I would have probably went to a hobby shop and bought some expensive Tamiya kit or maybe even an airbrush- but nope. Instead I immediately went to Wally World and used it towards a .30 cal ammo can with 420 rounds of Federal M855 on stripper clips. . . Not even to shoot- Just to stockpile.

Such is my priorities now. . .And given the times we currently live in, turns out its been the right one.
