You, my fellow deviant, have unstumped me, and I am truly grateful. I've had problems trying to draw 9 characters for a long time, so when I found this tutorial I was really excited. XD This helped me out so much. Thanks for making it.
Do you think you could link me to a tutorial with how to draw their eyes, or possibly make one if you're not too busy?

I'm very glad to hear it helped! Unfortunately, I'm without internet at the moment; just moved into a new house :3 I'll get started on a Stitchpunk eye tutorial and post it as soon as I can. I'd help you look for other tutorials well, once I get my net back. Thanks for commenting :3

my head's gonna explode now! that looks so great, but all my characters, stitchpunk or not, fall below the "correct height proportions" simply because I just draw them that way, i guess thats my art style. but great tutorial, especially for a first time! my stitchpunks all look too short!

You know, this is a really good tutorial, but I'm giggling right now from all the little comments from 10. Especially in the "Why Am I NAKED?" part.

Oooh! Very nice tutorial! This'll definitely be useful - I really need to work on making my Stitchpunks look smoother and more "organic".

If you could, would you do the tutorial about the eyes and hands?

RustedRabbit In reply to Snowiweather [2010-09-18 05:32:22 +0000 UTC]

/Verylatecomment If you still want to see me do a tutorial on the eyes and hands, I'd be glad too :3 They might take a little while to do seeing as we're in the midst of selling are house, but they can be done.

I have a question about the LOA. Can you use this LOA on drawing anything besides stitchpunks?

RustedRabbit In reply to Artgirl121 [2009-11-21 23:17:47 +0000 UTC]

Naturally! The Line of Action is, as you can see, just a line. I'd recommend starting all characters - animal, human, alien, Stitchpunk, what have you - with an LoA to give the pose flow and movement. Really, all the steps in this can be applied to anything

Oh okay, thank you! Also, if I want like a running pose, what would the LOA look like?
