Thanks - I guess that was the theme I was going for... trying to make the more unusual tings, stylish/beautiful. A bit of a development on the idea used in 'Days End' ( [link] ).

Cheers - collected them out of a lamp (no flies were harmed in the making of this photo). Gotta get myself some extension tubes so I can take proper macro shots of these.

Just stuck them on my usual high-tech studio setup of white paper, then held a piece of paper overhead to get the flash over the whole page. They were too small to manual focus so I centred them and then added the white space by increasing the canvas size.

Thanks Took a while to decide on the layout. I went around the lights in the house, finding the unfortunate ones who'd fallen inside... then arranged them into some sort of composition using cocktail sticks.
