nicely arranged metaphors you got here, i think it looks really cool! and how many eggs did you have to crack before you got it to crack so perfectly?

This was my first egg....my only egg. What can I say? I guess all that practise was worth it. Thank god you didnt mention the technicalities of chicken reproduction

Yea that is a strong statement and until i read that lengthy thread of arguments about chickens not being alive this concept made me think of abortions in people not chickens.

Can be about whatever you want it to be, as long as no one tells me about chicken reproduction To me it's just about the abortion of any life / process, with the egg and knife as the metaphors. Cheers :_)

So this is the one you meant? Nicely captured. I like how well it was executed. It was a great set up. While I agree with the title to an extent. I hate eating eggs but they are truly not fetal matter because due to the process they could never hatch into a cute chicken. Damn farmers and their mass productive chambers.

Yes, yes.....chicken eggs.... I know theyre not alive ( im at least semi-intelligent ). However, abortion means to stop a process before its completion.

well of course. I knew you knew that I was just adding my 2 cents And abortion is stopping it before completion however, an egg is complete. It would never become a chick.

An egg is only the first part of a larger process. I was adressing the whole process, not just the egg. Im not really going to argue about this... I understand what I mean... luckily I don't require other people to agree

woah killer, no ones argueing with you. I was just saying marketed eggs are the end of the process. I know what you mean, and I understand. I was just merely pointing out that the production is so huge that more than half of the market has no process because of the corporate greed for money. I was not saying that your photo is depicting something that doesn't exist. Of course it exists. And I know what your concept is behind it, I was just making conversation in depth about the subject. Sorry if I offended you.

Its ok Just getting stressed about people helpfully pointing out how baby chickens are made
Also, the photo is more about the photo than the concept - no strong commentary on 'eating eggs is murder', or anything so ludicrous.
Just saying the process has stopped when the eggs are prevented from developing, even if the only abortion is inevitable, caused by the circumstance of the chicken and not by a sinister act. I think the problem is the common conception nowadays that abortion can only mean the ending of life. The process is aborted whether or not it is doomed to be aborted through inability to carry through the process or aborted against its chances of success.

no I understand that. How many people actually pointed out how baby chickens are made? See being a vegetarian I don't eat eggs, I mean look at my photo. I was just adding my 2 cents and my opinion on the chicken industry.
I think your photo is well executed and really great for the concept. You are right abortion is just an end to a process. Your photo does depict this well without politics getting involved. I guess I just have strong feelings on the murder of chickens not eggs, but the treatment of the chickens who lay the eggs. If I were one of those chickens I would want to be aborted
