Annalise [Surname Removed] :She got this email. Rubbish she thought. She deleted it. And now, Annalise dead.

Louise [Surname Removed]: She sent this to only 4 people and when she woke up in the morning her wrists had deep lacerations on each. Luckily there was no pain felt, though she is scarred for life.
CASE THREE -
Thomas [Surname Removed]: He sent this to 5 people. Big mistake. The night Thomas was lying in his bed watching T.V. The clock shows '12:01am'. The T.V misteriously flickered off and Thomas's bedroom lamp flashed on and off several times. It went pitch black, Thomas looked to the left of him and there she was, Bloody Mary standing in white rags. Blood everywhere with a knife in her hand then disappeared. The biggest fright of Thomas's life.

No I was talking about it with someone last week I think. Talking about how they're not even tutorials and the artist came in and tried to prove me wrong. Just sent me a picture of someone who completely copied the last step almost exactly.
Yeah you're "really" teaching people about the anatomy of the eye and how to draw it consistently.

He could've stopped a while ago considering they're all basic repeats of the first tutorials. Seriously, is drawing an eye so complicated that you need 12 steps multiplied by 7.

I'm starting to think that he just does it for the page views. I honestly don't know how these tutorials help anyone because it lacks saying what tools he is using and what not. just picture by picture with no instructions on how its done. I like how it's randomly sharpened at the end.

I thought the process was quite clear, I'm a visual learner anyway so the lack of detailed instructions doesn't bother me. But I don't understand why this is the 8th one, so it could be for the views.

i agree. It's also the same left eye. Perhaps a tutorial actually going in depth about the anatomy of the human eye with multiple angles would be the next step.
then again, it wouldn't make it easy for the artist would it? The person might as well look up other tutorials one day for real information.
The artist, as said by others, is just cranking out pieces for views and hits. Not really to benefit its followers.

If he's going to punch these out for the pageviews at least pick a different body part.

i would say i agree however he actually has portrait work in his gallery that has a more realism involved. which could mean he already understand anatomy or it could mean he has a good eye 
regardless, i feel like you need to know how something works before you start screwing around with style

He is the person that got me into the whole abusing the system thing, since he basically gets away with it every single time and DA does nothing about it
But in this case you cant even blame the "artist", the problem is the sheep who keep faving these "tutorials" over and over (lol how is this a tutorial? No explanation whatsoever on how to do it)

Hm, so youre saying you actually prefer these simple image-step tutorials over ones that explain things?
When I posted my eye tutorial, I immediately knew it wouldnt get popular because it had too much damn text and no one bothered reading it people seem to love these simple ones a lot more, so thats what I am going for next time (and plus, Ive changed the way I draw eyes quite a bit)

Like them, nope. I was humored by them cuz of the level of attention they get around here. Stuff like this never helped me at all wether they had text or not. There's nothing to really explain when all the person really has to do is observe and copy. But if you have to have text it's best kept it short and sweet. Anime eyes aren't technically challenging so an en-depth explanation isn't really needed for them.
As far as being a newcomer, yeah it's tough. We come to this site hoping to show our art, but unless we draw certain things the chances of being seen are near zero. I don't care for the fact that the community seems oblivious to art that isn't anime, cute, or anything pony related. I could focus on one of those types of art and spam people with it to get my stats up, but I don't feel like bowing down to the will of the community. dA's tried to even things out but I'm not sure if there's much they can do.

Heh? Dont even put me on the same level as him... I havent had a drawing moved in about 2 months, so I have no idea what you mean about "all the time"
He is on the front page every single day, either with PSD files or some wallpaper category on a square pic, etc
But they wont do anything about it, and he has been getting ridiculously popular thanks to it, so tell me, why should we avoid it? Ethics? Lol, at the end of the day, he wins, we lose (we as in, hardworking "newbies" who dont have a fanbase yet)
