Description
“Bad dog! Bad dog!” -Keldric
Turns out, taking out a battle hardened Blackrock Worg (Level 2) is a bit of a challenge for a new recruit with an oversize stick. Keldric might be a paladin but he’s got ways to go. Hell, he can’t even heal himself yet and I bet he’d like to know how that right now.
Constructive criticism is deeply appreciated!

I was totally unprepared for how hard this picture was going to be. Initially, I had a few concept for some interesting angles for this illustration but it all went sideways when I figured out I can’t draw a wolf to save my life. I had to rely on a simple but effective sideway angle with some excellent reference to pull off anything resembling a wolf. I also tried a new style of line art for this picture instead of the two hour long process. This illustration was entirely finished after a good half hour.

Project Level is an art experiment where we will follow the life of a human paladin as he grows to become a hero in the World of Warcraft universe. To do this, after every level gained, an experience the character lived through will be transformed into an illustration. The overarching goal of this project is to develop my skills in both traditional and digital art while maintaining a schedule. Creating a consistent style with the help of gathered constructive criticisms was also at the forefront of my mind when implementing the project.

This is super interesting! I cannot wait to see more~
Just a little criticism on the worg. The ears are a bit small, they should be a bit larger, also wolves (worgs) always have claws out. The teeth also look a little messed up, the top canine looks like it would be in front of the bottom which is actually the exact opposite. Also, there should be a dewclaw on the leg that is behind Keldric.

Now a little criticism on the Keldric. His hands are a bit awkward looking. Also, you might want to colour his sclera white!

Hello! Thank you enormously for taking the time to critically analyze my work. While I did make myself the promise to never rework past illustrations for fear of being stuck in an eternal loop of correcting the past, I will definitely take heed of your comments for the next illustrations slighted for this weekend. Keldric will encounter another wolf in the future and if you have the time, I will consult with you for the anatomy of the wolf before release. You do seem to be very good at it!
Take care and have a good Halloween !
