Part 2: The angel of death herself.

A 75-foot leviathan even bigger than her mother, Angel was the first megalodon ever displayed in captivity. For four years, she grew, ate and drew massive crowds to the Tanaka Oceanographic Institute. Fiercer than her mother, Angel eventually escaped after first killing three people and then breaking out of her enclosure into the Monterey Canyon as it was being repaired. As Jonas Taylor attempted to recapture her, she caused multiple human and cetacean deaths as she migrated back to the Marianna trench to mate with the last remaining male megalodon living there. She was inadvertently part of a plot for Taylor's business partners, Celeste and Benedict Singer, to obtain rare manganese nodules to create fusion, but this was thwarted by Taylor and his wife, Terry. The appearance of deepwater Kronosaurus further thwarted the endeavor, as did Angel herself when she killed Celeste Singer. After Jonas and Terry escaped, Angel would remain in the trench for 18 years before returning to California, followed by her eldest male offspring, which mated with her before she killed him. Afterwards, she was recaptured and gave birth to five offspring: the twins, Belle and Lizzy, and the three runts, Mary Kate, Ashley, and Angelica. All five pups lived in fear of their mother, who consistently terrorized her separated pups to remind them she was more than willing to eat them. To render her controllable, an implant was attached to her skull, allowing her to be tricked via sensory stimulation to cooperate with commands. Angel herself was later killed when she was lured into the Panthalassa sea by Jonas during a rescue mission to save his son, David. In this hidden submarine cavern housing various prehistoric species, Angel battled the 122-foot Liopleurodon that dwelled there, nearly emerging victorious until she became ensnared in the net meant to catch the Lio. The pliosaur subsequently eviscerated her, bringing an end to the monster shark's reign. She would be survived by Belle and Lizzy, and later, by Belle and Lizzy's daughters, Luna and Belladona.
