Description
A female Carcharocles megalodon attacks a Macrokentriodon; a dolphin the size of an orca.Inspired by the work of and Julius Csotonyi. I had a hell of a time trying to keep the head shape similar to my previous megalodon drawing (see here: www.deviantart.com/saberrex/ar… ) with its jaws distended. The body meanwhile, was much easier to keep the same. the fins look a bit shorter due to the effect of the foreshortened angles. Done in pen, pencil and blending stumps over a 4 hour period.

Thank you. I do intend for a fight to be done between a pod of Macrokentriodon and a meg, so don't count the dolphins out yet.

Wait...a dolphin the size of an orca???
What did this dolphin prey on? I thought that the anatomy of an animal slightly changed with size but this guy looks the same as a regular dolphin.
But this looks epic! 030 Reminds me of the great white shark in Ecco the dolphin. That thing was almost as big as a megladon, seriously. Ecco fits in that mouth of his and it scared the hell out of me.
Was the sonar of this dolphin stronger and more intense too?
