So, how do I blend a green glow from a main light source to buildings underneath it? I dunno how to make it a realistic ambient glow yet. Using Photoshop CS5.1.
(My idea is my Ponysona is hooked into a machine, drawing the power of the world into him as Cyber-Lightning is shot from all directions, highlighting [barely] two heroes of the world to stop him. I need to know how to do this without it looking stupid.)

I think it would be something like with the sparkles (low opacity and soft brush) but when light meets the building it's edges are highlighted (small, sharp brush with higher opacity)

well I use sharp brush for a centre, and blurry brush with low opacity for the rest
