I don't know what you're talking about - that fire looks pretty bloody cool, in my opinion.
Also... "Green fire" can, through giving numerical values to letters, be proven to equal "epic win".

How does the blur help it glow? I'm using it and it doesn't seem to help.

using the blurred brush (not blurr) is the easiest way to create an imitation of a soft light. I don't really know where lies the problem...

Pardon me, I am an over-zealous spanish student and just realized how silly it is to comment in spanish on an english-speaking person's piece. I'm so used to seeing all different languages on DA, and I'm not sure what the "code" of when it's ok to use them is. I love languages so much that it is difficult to resist using them all the time.
