Faevoured is an archetype of LIGHT Spellcaster monsters, based on the Goetic Princes, a series of demons from the Ars Goetia. Beyond that, they lean heavily into the concept of Spellcaster-type monsters being the masters of Spell cards, each being able to embody a different type, from Continuous, Equip, Quick-Play, etc. That said, they are heavily reliant on the ability to be activating at least 1 Spell per turn, otherwise their lackluster on-field effects and minimal field presence tends to doom them, forcing 'Faevoured' to rely on external engines to make up for their shortcomings.

Trivia: Faevoured's name is derived from a portmanteau of Fae, being the whimsical fairies of primarily English & Irish folklore, and 'Favored', given they're primarily based on demonic princes who require certain offerings to show 'favor' to their conjuror. Aside from that, they each have a role, denoted by a 4 letter word beginning with 'S', being Star, Sidh (a realm of the Fae), Sain (A holy marking), Seer, and Sage. I pride myself on naming conventions, and this was a fun one to abide by!
