Description I was very pleasantly surprised when , illustrious Lord of All Mushrooms and a noted expert on German legal system in spare time, sent me a message saying not how I can legally keep my ex-Prime Minister incarcerated 'till Hell freezes over, but that he coloured the very first deviation I uploaded on this account.....so here it is above, ladies and gents.

All relevant info regarding the pic can be found on the naked version:

Black stuff by me, colours, textures and effects by Herr Clu.
I dig. Do you?

You are right!
At first I am a Lover,
second a Brother,
third again a Lover,
fourth an Hobby Artist,
fifth a - yes - a Lover,
sixth a very good Friend,
and at last a Spare Time Legal Expert....

Ooh, nice colors.

Heh heh heh, that "baby on board" sticker kills me too.

It means the bot features a baby-safe transformation, and the occupant of the back seat doesn't get squished in the process.
Comes in handy when you're shopping for a shape-shifting robot for your family.

Yeah, but what kind of weapons package does it come with?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

saganich In reply to JZLobo [2011-12-14 23:14:28 +0000 UTC]

See that messed-up weapon he's carrying? His disk brakes are SHARP!

Plus, Pintos were notorious for many fiery deaths of their occupants, in large percentage of rear-end collisons their fuel tanks would get pierced by a certain protruding bolt of some other structural part, and the car would turn into a bonfire.

There must be a way for that asset to be employed as a weapon!

Ooh, that definitely sounds evil. I got it, the perfect name for him... Kamikaze!

saganich In reply to JZLobo [2011-12-15 07:26:07 +0000 UTC]

Evil indeed...because Ford is evil!

They knew about the potentially fatal design defect and decided to keep it. Simply because they did the math, analyzed the statistical occurrence of rear-end collisions happening over certain speed (which would cause the rupture of said fuel tank), and came to a conclusion that is was cheaper to pay for lawsuits for deaths/serious injury, than to spend $10-ish on putting in an additional reinforcing panel in every Pinto already out there (as well as those still on production line).
That's how much a human life is worth to Ford, apparently.

Kamikaze, ehheh....does he rise back up every time, or is there many of him?
Or just one, but waiting for a reallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyREALLY special occasion to employ his special ability..*?

"Flaming" like TF Prime Knock Out, perchance?

saganich In reply to JZLobo [2011-12-20 19:42:14 +0000 UTC]

Heh, I had no idea 'flaming' can have such connotations as well... (And TFP Knock Out totally ROCKS!)

Wuss Out, cowardly gay Decepticon whose special ability is a one-shot-in-lifetime massive fireball.....I like where this is going, lol...MOAR!

Yeah, I finally got to see some Prime episodes last week and Knock Out is indeed a fun character. Pretty unique for a Decepticon.

He's quite awesome, yes......and his alt-mode choice is spot-on fantastic for his character - Aston Martin DBS, one of the classiest cars currently driving on this planet!

Overall show could be (much) better, though...

JZLobo In reply to saganich [2011-12-21 20:05:13 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, there's definitely room for improvement.

It's too scattered, in lack of a better word.
I miss an ever-present subtle underlying 'agenda', which would give a feeling of purpose to each episode, instead of "random episode 1 - random episode 2 - random episode X - unprovoked Grand Finale" flow.

Kinda like BW and Animated had.

JZLobo In reply to saganich [2011-12-22 20:00:51 +0000 UTC]

Actually the first season of Beast Wars was like that. Usually most shows are more episodic in the first season while the writes are trying to get the show off the ground. I'm sure by the second season it will start to feel more cohesive.

Besides, "episodic" isn't such a bad thing.

saganich In reply to JZLobo [2011-12-22 20:49:13 +0000 UTC]

First half of BW season 1 was quite a pain to watch, yes...it seemed to me that writers *actually* had no clue where they were going, and that all the goodness and underlying agendas that came afterward are built from bits and pieces which originally had no purpose or deeper meaning....while the continuity remained perfectly intact, unforced and un-invaded.

Kinda like the way J.K. Rowling writes her sequels

I've seen interviews of Forward and Ditillio, and they admitted that in the first season they just threw in random elements on a whim (like Stonehenge and Rhinox's remark that the second moon was hollow) and figured they would decide what to do with them later. So you're right on the mark there.

You gotta admire such folks, who are able to connect the dots which were not meant to be connected, without disrupting anything, and make something truly wondrous in the process.
