Zira took a long walk into the Pridelands and sat quietly to herself. She couldn't help but be angry at Kovu for not participating in the ambush of Simba, as well as be angry at Simba in general. On top of that, the comment that Nuka left Zira just before his death (about him finally getting her attention) echoed through Zira's head. Vitani goes to check on her mother.

Vitani:"Mother..."
Zira:"Shut up and leave me alone!"

Vitani takes one last look at Zira and finally walks off alone.
