Description
And so it was told earlier to Sarafina that Scar was NOT the father of Nala. Scar heard about the news and thought it'd be funny to gloat a little...Scar:"HA!! Told you so!"
Sarafina:"But....HOW?!! You're the only one I was with!"
**A combination of the possibility that either Scar or Mufasa is the father of Nala and those daytime TV shows where the girl swears that the child belongs to one guy, knowing full and well that she's slept with more than that one guy. I'm not here to debate on whether or not Scar, Mufasa, or some rogue lion (as some think) is Nala's father; I simply thought this would be funny.

Well I did read something somewhere that 2 male lions can be in the pride and they breed with all the lionesses in their pride however I believe that nala is unrelated to mufusa and scar

It would be quite interesting if that was the case, because that would mean that Nala and Simba are half siblings. O.O

From what I understand, they're either siblings or cousins. Either way, they're related. Many choose not to believe this, as they don't want to believe that Disney would have incest in their movies. *coughHeraandZeuscough*

That's true that in mythology there was a lot of "cough insest cough" Β yet I think that since Lion King was truly an original Disney movie and not some "fairy tale" that they made into a good movie that they won't show anything to offend. The Disney company has tried it's best to be catered toward good wholesome values with most it's product line. Β Though they have come close to crossing the lines at some points, Β the 1/2 naked centaurs in fantasia, Β Jessica Rabbit (very sexy character), and Jasmine's slave outfit. I do think that Disney kind of left this up to the viewers in this sense though.Β

It just sucks when you're one of the people that DO believe that Disney had incest in their movies.

Yeah...uh, huh. After busting Disney for having a naked woman's torso in one of their movies, I doubt incest is the worst of their problems.

which movie are you talking about with the naked woman's torso? I don't remember a naked female torso in any of their movies

It was in the dvd release (or it might have been vhs) of The Rescuers. All copies had to be pulled off the shelves due to a quick shot in a city scene. How someone saw that photo during such a quick shot is beyond me, but I did look up photos online of it.

Hahahahah that's for sure! I don't know what they were thinking with that one! And let's not start with the controversial debate of whether Disney was deliberately trying to spell the word "sex" in TLK, or if they really just failed when they tried giving a shout out to "SFX". :/

I just love Nala here, the sheer position of her thighs ad the shadows and the sun? Brilliant.

It would be just a little freaky if Mufasa was Nala's father, mostly because of what goes on between Simba and Nala....

But in nature, inbreeding is a part of life. If you think about it, there is always one male who mates with all the females. So I really think she is Mufasa's cub.

You would think so, but it's one of those things where what always works in real life isn't always shown in a Disney movie. Some animals eat their young, but I doubt Disney would go that far with some things. In movies like Bambi, The Jungle Book (regarding the elephants), and a few others, Disney has this thing where they want younger viewers to think that the male is in a happy relationship with one female and sometimes a child. The fact that the male of that species, IRL, would normally be courting several females isn't something Disney usually shows in their movies. They want you to think that Mufasa and Sarabi are in a loving relationship with one son and a possible future daughter-in-law by another. There's also the case of whether Disney would be bold enough to show incest. In real life, that works sometimes, but there are many who'd be offended if the thought of Simba and Nala being siblings were to come up. You know how some people are... Disney usually tries to go out of the way not to offend the majority of the public, even though they fail at times.

Well if it's never mentioned and there is really only Mufasa as the pride leader, and I guess Scar who's just kinda there, you are really only left to assume one of the two is Nala's father. lol
It's implied incest in the end I suppose, but they never mention it or bring it up or ever get around to explaining it and just avoid it altogether. People are forced to come to their own conclusions based on what they know, if they care to know. lol

Very true. ^^ Every time I think I have an answer, someone comes up with reasons that contradict what I came up with. It's fun, yet tiring sometimes trying to come up with some conclusions; especially with the sequel! *falls over*

Haha yeeaaahh. I didn't really like the sequal. It just didn't have the heart of the original movie. But ah well.

'I can TOTALLY hit on her when she gets older!'
'What?!'
'Nothing. Forget I said it. Ignore the Broadway posters you see around here ...'
I've seen the shows and I swear I wonder just when the girl realises that the truth will come out, or when the guy realises that he's danced like an asshole and now he's going to be outed in front of a pitchfork hooting audience
