Thanx... i highly recommend starting with reptiles... or birds... due to their body flow...

wow, sweet and thx for the tips, but do u have any suggestions for other pics i could try to give a tribal effect to, im just starting out, but i have a decent grasp on most things, so a suggestion would help, thx

Sakashima In reply to olittaD-madA [2009-03-17 01:39:02 +0000 UTC]

Well Adam, thank you for the compliment.
I always suggest to give first tries on reptiles... snakes and lizards mostly... they have very simple (and interesting) flow lines...
Birds are good... the most basic form of tribal is the flame piece, which you can work it very well... so take an eagle (or a hawk) picture...like a photo or drawn... and turn it into a phoenix... as an example...takea look at staes 1 and 2 of this fellow [link]
If you need anything just ask...

Sakashima In reply to IsabelleLaurin [2007-06-14 13:41:19 +0000 UTC]

about fainting... i'm working on a super cool supreme tribal ( I hate handmad symetrics) based on tribal series 82 (the owl with the moon) as i request another deviant made...

And Thanx a lot for the apreciation...it took me almost 2 weeks to finish it cuz usually i do the whole thing in one or two hours... but scanning and adjusting size is a slow process so making it step by step is veeeery slow...
