Were Dead's (Pelle's) eyes light brown or blue? It's so hard to tell in the pics sometimes. Β Did you ever get to meet him in person or where you guys just pen pals? I tried to post a comment on another pic and it keeps saying that it won't let me......argh!!!! I needz all of Deadz infoz.....this is important stuff!!!!!!!Β

This may sound odd, but I always had this thought in the back of my mind... That if Dead lived in these times he would be the type to have internet friends. I'm sure it sounds odd and I'm not sure how to phrase it right. But I'm not at all surprised he had a long-distance pen pal to write long letters to.
You must miss him a lot. He has plenty of fans who say they miss him, but we never even knew him... I looked through all these photos and they made me really sad. I'm sorry. This seems like a strange question ... but have you ever dreamed of him after his death?

Wow, sorry for the very late reply..
I met Dead via the old tape trading thing, which flourished as a way of distributing music and such, in the days before everyone had computers and internet access. I wrote to him about the Morbid demo and we wrote back and forth for a few years, talked on the phone, etc.

I would like to talk with him some day (hey dead, what's your favourite colour HAHA) , sadly he died⦠at least he doesn't have kids, but yes family, friends (or maybe people who knew him) and fans.

We were penpals, and occasionally phone-pals (he once walked for miles through what sounded like a blizzard to phone me, lol) - and he was very good to talk to. Our letters would run to 30 hand-written pages at times - he wasn't scared of sharing his thoughts on things, which made him a very good pen-pal to have. Also, he was a very sweet guy, despite the mythology of him. He was very dear to a lot of people, for that reason.

The first time I read this :0. I sent a mail to Fenriz asking if he could tell me anything about Dead (really I felt a bit nosy), and he told me 'no one knew him, forget it'. I was too upset, but he was right. I mean, you wrote to him even 30 hand-written pages, he did too, and I believe from the words you wrote me, you knew him better than Fenriz (and I don't know why I sent to him a mail), even Euronymous.
I read a lot of things about him, but nothing get my fill, but I stopped looking. This was like a⦠maybe an obsession haha.
And I know I'm not the first who tell you this, but you're lucky, although you didn't know he would became 'a legend'.
If he didn't do what he did, I couldn't know him. But it's more the person he was who interests me, not the musician.
