Ha! Pretty much.

Okay, I'm in a blathery mood, so I'm gonna tell you a story linked to this pic, sort of.

There was a Melbourne band called Acheron, who decided the pig's head look was gonna do a lot for thier image. So, they got hold of some -- but they were frozen, it being high summer in Aus, and all. Not only that, but they couldn't find any gnarly sticks to poke them on, and the heads were by oversight still frozen at the time of the gig, so they resorted to having to nail them to supports mafe of bits of two-by-four, which just didn't have the same effect.

The bass player thought this was all so very lame that he refused to play -- and walked out, minutes before the set started. So, they went on anyway. The crowd stood in silence for the first song. When it finished, some wit called out "Hey, where's your bass player? Is that him on the plank?"

I so rofled. Spinal Tap moments, FTW.

HA! Oh man, I can't imagine having someone just walk off minutes before everything starts. My boyfriend is in a band; if that happened to him he would be PISSED.
