Description
So this piece was a pretty fun challenge. I took an online digital portrait painting class, and this is my final piece for it. I learned quite a bit and am rather happy with how it came out.
The class is Paintable who provided the reference, I believe they got it here . If you'd like to see my course work, it's available over on my Patreon . We cover the basics, from drawing shapes all the way up to a finished painting. I'm working on the bonus sections right now that focus on facial features. You can see my finished nose for that section here .

She is exquisite in her beauty and the colors and lines complement each other nicely. The boldness of the eyes and the fingernail polish are a nice splash of color.
Now for the slashes of paint that radiate from her body. It is reminiscent of paintings that I have seen in movies where an artist gets angry at the subject of the painting and defies it with angry slashes of color. But yours is more like an artist that tried defiling the paining, but could not, for he cannot bring himself to harm a thing of such beauty. Therefore, his angry slashes, then become part of the artwork, beautiful in their own right.
As well, you should be happy with how it turned out, very nicely done.

I've been doing the Magic Box 1.0 at the Oatley Academy. Took a break from it for a while, but finally trying to get back to it.

I've been learning a lot from it so far. I'm a bit sad though since now that the new version is coming out, the forums on the old version are quickly being abandoned (so it's hard to get any critiques on there any more). I liked it much more when the forums on there were more lively with people willing to give critiques of your work on the assignments. I'm sure the forums in the new version will be more lively though, and by the looks of it, it's going to be even more organized and with more content than the old version was.

Well, from what I can tell, the new version of Magic Box is on a month by month basis... and the nice thing about the new version is that everything is unlocked from the very beginning (unlike the old one I did that unlocked a new lesson each month). So you could always just subscribe for a month and try it out, and unsubscribe if you don't feel like you are getting enough out of it. Don't quote me on that though. But might be worth checking out.
