Backstory:
Gabriel Velasco is a lizard-folk hybrid who comes from a wealthy family, his mother is the CEO of a fashion company and his father was a renowned soldier who fought in the great war, when he was young, he had a bad habit of stealing from others and had been in trouble with his parents on multiple occasions for it. At the age of nineteen his father encouraged him to join the hybrid military and because he didn't want to disappoint his father, he joined and soon became a spy for the army.
After a year in the military, He was chosen to test a prototype optic camouflage device that were two rings that contained nano-machines that when activated would cover his entire body and make him invisible, after some successful tests he began using the rings for missions and soon other soldiers began to call him the chameleon, however his army career didn't last as he soon sustained an injury that cost him his hands and after having surgery and new mechanical replacements fitted, he decided to leave the army and secretly took the camouflage rings with him, claiming they were destroyed when he lost his hands. After leaving the military. he started his dream career as a fashion model at his mothers company, he loved his new job however his father disapproved of his son's new career.
A year later, Gabriel attended a party and while there, a valuable necklace caught his attention, he asked the owner where he could get one like that but he was disappointed to hear that it was one of a kind. because he couldn't get one of his own he decided he would steal the necklace, a couple days after the party, he used his rings to sneak into the owners home and stole the necklace. after this he became interested in collecting more of these unique valuables from other wealthy people and would rob them and display their valuables in a secret room in his apartment.
