You captured the atmosphere perfectly... I had to go back and forth from thumb to closeup a few times to figure out why this fits those dark-red sunrises so well. I think it's the soft backlit glow in the clouds that has nothing to do with the bright, obvious colours. And the silhouetted midground. And that area at the top where the sunrise colour doesn't touch the background blue/grey at all.
Too much to analyse on a Tuesday morning, ack!
Anyway, it's a real treat to look at, thanks for sharing it.

This turned out pretty well. It's rough and looks like a speedpainting, but this actually suits the scenery and time of day you've recreated. It's got atmosphere.
