I painted this for my class on the Vietnam War. Essentially it's an homage to some of the Vietnam War films we have watched, particularly Full Metal Jacket.© Sam Burley - Do not use without permission

The only thing I'd have to say that are the main inaccuracies are probably the sky(but that your image not mine) and the fact that out of all the pictures I've seen of the Vietnam War there weren't any villages anywhere near that size. Other then that I have no complaints. All around awesome picutre.

Good, but the city looks a little out of place. It contradicts the stereotypical Vietnam scene. But it is well drawn.

Great piece! I like the muted colors. It helped set the mood and unify the atmosphere. Only issue I have is the lack of detail in the dark areas in the foreground. Although that can be excused if you were limited on time.
