Description Actually this is the typical entrance lobby for an apartment building. Standard sofas and seats in view of the person at the front desk so he/she can keep an eye on you. Granite/marble flooring and a funky front desk with CRTV monitors behind

Thumbnail inset is the view of the other side. I had fun making this, simpler than usual pieces but nice result.

ID is great. There are some cool ID's from Phillipines here. Yep, learning basic CAD helps in complete domination of the software.

Dude man, I really miss some authentic Sichuan/Beijing/Fujian & Mongolian cuisines of China. My favs include Taiwanese black sauce frogs legs, Fish head soup, mushroom soup, mongolian hot pot and of course nothing like the chinese cakes.

Ha! I never eaten the foods all above. I think i'll love Sichuan food a lot, coz i love spicy food. M'sia has not only chinese food tho. We have Malay food, Indian food, as well as Baba-Nyonya food! Next year (2007) is "Visit Malaysia Year". So plan your tour if you want to.

you've got the atmosphere extremely right on this render!
was just wondering about applying some kind of depth of view to it, so the background would be slightly blurred, as what normally happens ona phot as im sure you know, just a thought, otherwise fanstastic stuff
what program did you use, 3ds, c4d? just out of interest

Hey there, thanks for the deep insight into this, I really appreciate it. I avoided DOF because this is for clients who can see things more clear. DOF would be great.

This is done modelled in AutoCad and rendered in AccuRender.

Have you ever sold any concepts to interior designers? You have a great contemporary flair. This is a beautiful lobby, I wouldn't mind being held here for a short while, plus it looks a lot cooler than here right now, hotter than a biscuit.

Actually this was done for a friend and this one got developed as well so yes, it was quite succesful

sorry, wich render/ 3dmodeller do you use? i can see that the final images are great, very reallistic, but doesnt seem to be rendered with Vray or with Maxwell render.. can you tell me? like so much the image! yay! favourite

Thanks for the fav buddy. This is modelled in AutoCad 2004, the rendering is done in the Architectural render engine called "AccuRender 3.1" .
