Come to the dreaming Shabal Al Ya Yeseah, where its so hot even the mummies have air conditioned sarcophagi. Best place to get a tan even if you wear papyrus wrappings. Built by a long forgotten sheik or a group of Djinni, the city drowses in the hot daylight, while shadows whisper ancient secrets. Best time to visit is dawn or dusk, don't stay longer after dusk because whatever is in the catacombs likes to stretch its legs and the snack bar has been closed for 4000 years. When the sun comes up you better be inside unless you like becoming dry and dusty. Well if you become dry and dusty, there is a nice place for you in the catacombs. Sorry but the catacombs are a cell phone free zone. The rules are strictly and painfully enforced. So if you are hankering for a taste of history or a place where you can taste the history and hopefully the history does not taste you, come on down to Shabal Al Ya Yeseah.

wow i wouldn't mind going there for a holiday. i lovelovelove the colours here, the combination of cyan blue with the pale yellow-brown colour is gorgeous.
what strikes me most about this piece is that it reminds me a lot of Escher's work. the buildings look very similar to some of his works. well i love his stuff so its all good.
