Rather neat concept of a building, pity I had to read the title a dozen times after I looked at it...and I still almost missed the saxophone shape. Great job here.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Sampdoria In reply to Alabastra [2007-11-06 10:42:26 +0000 UTC]
Sure, I used Autocad to model and Accurender to render
Cheers

Alabastra In reply to Sampdoria [2007-11-08 04:34:27 +0000 UTC]
Autocad, isn't that just a 2D cad (not sure, I'm learning it now ).....Accurender ?... I see you can do great things with this program....
....

Sampdoria In reply to Alabastra [2007-11-08 06:56:27 +0000 UTC]
Autocad is the powerful tool which indeed is used to make not only plans in 2D but it also models in 3D. AccuRender is a lesser known tool used by Architects for rendering their stuff in AutocAd.

Well we here are using Archicad more, and some are using AllPlan....but I guess if you know the program well then you can do almost everything you want

Sampdoria In reply to Alabastra [2007-11-08 11:18:46 +0000 UTC]
I did some AllPlan training. It is useful if you are in Eastern Europe or germany for Allplan. Its very powerful. But its got a completely different set of working method and switches. Are you an architect?

Alabastra In reply to Sampdoria [2007-11-10 17:34:20 +0000 UTC]
nope....I'm not an architect...yet...but I'm studying architecture now

Sampdoria In reply to Alabastra [2007-11-13 05:35:14 +0000 UTC]
Nice, best of luck. Remember - to be successful, be quick and decisive - dont leave the design to the end otherwise you will never be able to pace your presentation. Also for more success, be understanding and modest with all professors. If theres one this architecture profs dont like is students who dont believe their philosophy
