That's a very cool picture. I don't know what the exact aim for this is, but it looks as if you could use it in a Better Homes Magazine or something . lol
I would have to say that about all of the pictures you have in this series. But something specific to this one is the curved wood panneled wall is excelent. Not to mention the marble tile.

Thx a lot for the .. and sure I can teach you! Its modelled in ACAD 2004 and rendered in Accurender3.1 [link] which is like a Plugin Architectural software for ACAD and RHINO. Rest is cleaned up in Pshop.

you should be an interior decorator lol....this is really nice, i love the design and layout of everything. its got everything i'd ever need in it
everything looks very realistic, the colours are what they should be and there is the appropriate amount of shadow in the right places.

Ninjagecko [2004-12-12 12:51:13 +0000 UTC]

nice, love the way you made things like the CD cases fall forward to match the wall...
the images you used to make the windows are undersaturated however, so they look like posters. you may want to map the image to the ambience channel

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Sampdoria In reply to Ninjagecko [2004-12-12 19:48:32 +0000 UTC]

Thats a fabulous comment and I appreciate it. I agree fully with the background image, I had rendered this more than 1.5 year back, so at that time I had not used the option of leaving an alpha channel for the background and hence have some nice sky photoshopped later...yes, its always been that complain - ie the window view outside being too flat ... thx!!

pixar haha....

thx for yet another cool comment and .... Ironically I had spent one month on the Attic and 4 days on Fine Dining. The Attic was for a competition, it came in 7th out of 110 entries and I was satisfied. The first prize winner was fabulous - a German renderer.

Cheer mate!

Thykka In reply to ??? [2004-10-03 12:28:11 +0000 UTC]

Very detailed work
Imo the ceiling boards have a bit too much variance. And some of the lense-flares seem to be a bit misplaced, but overall I love the atmosphere you've created

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Sampdoria In reply to Thykka [2004-10-04 09:32:19 +0000 UTC]

thx Thykka....really appreciate ur comments and Im glad to get all the constructive criticisms as well ... will definately keep in mind variance next time and well...those darn lens flares are always so tuff to place in Pshop!

cheers!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thykka In reply to Sampdoria [2004-10-04 10:26:50 +0000 UTC]

It's easier to place them, if you make a new layer, fill it black and set the blending-mode to screen and then render the lensflare. This way you can use the move tool to put the lensflare in exact place
