Description
This has become one of my favourite drawings.The 9:05 (A.M.) train, headed by 2-4-2T #57, (Yes there are cabside-mounted sandboxes on the cab) has since departed the station and is hot on its heels towards the First station in line.
And yes, this is semi-fictional, it's pretty much modern day.
I Love the coaches too, a first for me to love rolling stock...

Wow, way interesting engine design... cluttered to the extreme! (You know you're talking seriously industrial when the engine doesn't even have side windows. Seeing is for pannsies. XD) The coaches look kind of Germanic, somehow. Makes it look like a workers' factory ("commuter"?) train.

Hell Yes! And pah, Windows... Sand is more important for keeping the schedule!
And yargh. The coaches rock. That 2-4-2T and its sisters usually haul at least 5 in one train...
