God, I love the #40. Back when I was a tyke, I had a video showing her in operation on the Georgetown Loop. She was for meany years the locomotive that came to mind when I thought of narrow gauge in the west. Loved her even more when she went north and ran on the White Pass. Especially when she ran the charter freights: [link] I will confess to wishing she had stayed on the White Pass, she looked good up there and I understand they where very reluctant to let her go. But I'm glad to see her being taken care of and loved. What the current deposition of her mechanically?

Awesome, I actually had forgotten about that photo or your video of her during the winter. Very good to see her in operation. How close is she to her 1472-day inspection?
As for her future? Will she stay at the Colorado Railroad Museum indefinitely?

Pretty sure she's staying here indefinitely, along with everything else that came from the old GLRR.
