Description
With the nest always needing to be on the lookout for valuable resources and other dangers the scout is always there to help maintain a constant vigil on the area surrounding the god-tree for miles upon miles away. Scouts emerge from their cocoons almost entirely deflated, gorging themselves on food the moment they can they then wait until their fat and gas supplies are packed to the brim before allowing themselves to float slowly into the sky. They stay in this state for weeks as they drift impotently across the sky. Only returning once their food supplies begin running dangerously low, they head back towards the nest to alert the taskmasters of all the relevant information they garnered so that food and other supplies might be collected by the gatherers. However; should a threat directly oppose the scout of the nest itself the scout will quickly deflate his air sacs and use this to propel himself forward at great speeds, using his limbs as guidance.
