Wings of Freedom: That's basically it. I just wanted to make sure the wings were better proportioned. As with the Strike, it's not a real scene... just a checkup. I'm fairly satisfied with the modelling.(again with the watermark

Yes, it is latin. Modello Deici because its number is X10A (Model Ten for the 10), and Liberta Perfetta is, I believe, Perfect Freedom. All (or perhaps nearly all) of the Mobile Suits in SEED and SEED Destiny have latin writing on them, usually reflecting their model numbers.

I love the balanced colour scheme on this work, and the elegant pose of the robot. I'm curious as to how you did the planet, though. I've been trying to get my head around painting planets for ages.

Ah! Lightwave - now all becomes clear! It's great what you can do with software these days.

The earth was done in lightwave (3d model). 3 spheres with separate textures based on earth maps. Not too bad.
