It's been 4 years since starting and finishing this in Lightwave. I think it's probably my favorite mesh, but so large (at the time) that it was difficult to load into Lightwave's layout program. One of my favorite "Gundams" even if it's not in the UC timeline.The mesh is "based" off of the Perfect Grade kit, with adjustments made to better suit the detail of the X100 frame Astray illustration from the Perfect Grade Strike kit -- which is actually a bit different in appearance, though ostensibly the same mobile suit.

This is amazing work man, I actually have a Red Frame kit on order. It's so far my favorite Gundam. I bought an airbrush so I hope the paint turns out well, I'm substituting the red for metallic blue to make the suit appear like the Blue Frame with the Red's sword.

Whoa! Epic! Astray was always one of my faves(the swords mostly, and the suit itself is epic) I wanna get the MG Red Frame (the one with Tactical Arms, i thin it's the Kai, i'd have to check) mostly cuz any kind of sword, especially giant ones like the Tactical Arms kick ass especially in the hands of giant robots

I totally understand the love for the blue frame, but the sword on the red is small enough and less of a hassle that it grabs my attention better.
