More fanart :} This is for the Wheel of Time series, by the late Robert Jordan, because that's what I've been getting into lately.

This scene shows Egwene Al'Vere fighting the Seanchan when they raided the White Tower in The Gathering Storm. I thought this was one of the best battle scenes in the series, not because of what happened but because of what it meant, and what followed it. This was the battle that finally made the Aes Sedai wake up and realize what a mess they'd turned the White Tower into, and then made them decide to elect Egwene as Amyrlin.

It was also the scene that made me start to like Egwene as a character. She isn't all that likeable at first, really, but I think she'll make a great Amyrlin.

The picture itself took a long time to make, mostly because of the coloring. It was supposed to be drawn for a contest at but I didn't have enough time to finish. I don't think Seanchan raken and to'raken look exactly like that, but it was the best I could do for now I might upload an updated version of this later on.
