In early 2005, I was asked to design the look for a comic book project based on the character of Mattel, Max Steel. Unfortunately, the project was canceled and the designs were never used.This is an illustration that I left incomplete when Mattel dropped out the project.

A principios de 2005 recibí el encargo de diseñar el look para un proyecto de historieta basado en el personaje de mattel, Max Steel. Desafortunadamente, el proyecto no prosperó y los diseños nunca fueron utilizados.
Esta es una ilustración que dejé incompleta cuando el proyecto fue cancelado.

The original plan was include comics in the action figures, like Mattel used to do so many years ago with the He-Man toys. I never understood why they didn't continued with the idea. I think it was pretty cool!
I have more Max Steel art in someplace, some sketches and watercolors, but I have to look for it. I'm sure you're gonna like the model sheets that I made.
Hmmm... now that I think about it, I always have wanted make a drawing of Max fighting with Extroyer, but I always forget it. I'll work on that in the next weeks, if I have some free time.

I remember having a Max steel doll with a few little things. I was never a Barbie girl XD I think they got thrown away though.... I've never seen Max Steel on sale since. I still have some of the old recorded adverts though.
