..and an other attempt on a walk cycles..now please, people.. try to think a little bit before leaving a comment.. i know there is still a lot wrong with the animation.. the walk still is very slippery, and it feels very rigid.. i know that.. so please dont tell me the obvious.. i think everybody knows what and how a walk cycles should look like and that includes me too.. the problem here is projecting the movement on the model itself.. please realize there is huge difference between knowing theoretically how it works, and actually making it..
i know physics arent working either.. im just not trying to get that working yet, so there is no hair movement, no boob bouncing and so on.. i need to get a good understanding about body movement first before i can start doing physics on the body too..
now i dont say that you cant leave a critic, i actually appreciate it when you do, but if you do then please be sure you know what you are talking about and dont state the obvious.. this is all about learning and experimenting, and no one ever learned anything from the obvious and/or nonsense.. thank you..

The front and back has smoothed out a lot, though in the front the hand motion is a little jerky at it's farthest forward and the side walk needs a little work... all in all though you've progressed amazingly well!

The head seems to be too perfectly level. Our bodies move up and down when we walk. There should be some bounce.

i know.. the problem is getting that bounce on the body..

Better =^^= If you have a copy of Skyrim, there's a good example of that kind of chaloupΓ© walking to replace the normal walking moves of the chars called "Victorias High Heel walk Animation plus BBP", on the modding nexus : [link]
The mod have more than one setup, to accentuate or moderate the hips movements. Feel free to try that

This reminds me of an old movie called Cherry 2000. Needless to say, I want a Saphy 2000.
This actually isn't as bad as you might think it is. It's obvious that she is still a little stiff instead of being relaxed and bobbing in the proper places. But I still think you're on to something.
Keep up the good work!

This is my viewpoint as a dance instructor that looks for certain mechanics, and you may be going for something different here but when we walk we roll through the foot more, I feel like she is stepping forward and then stepping flat footed. Think of a rocking chair, if you tip it back and let it go it rolls forward, the foot works the same way. Its hard to say because its happening fast but it looks like the first part of the foot that is touching the ground is the ball of the foot, unless she is tip toeing it should be the back of the heel strikes first and then rolls through to the ball of the foot to push off for the next step. It is looking better and I know you will have it before too long!

Much better! The legs are not as stiff. You are headed in the right direction! Suggestion is a little movement of the shoulders. Would help the stiff upper body. Each try there is improvement. Keep up the good work!

Did she step into pink paint? As for the rigidity, I think you could fix some of that by keeping the direction the arms travel closer to the direction she's walking, instead of hooking in when they pass in front of her. Other than that, *shrug*. I think your job would get a lot easier if you didn't have her walking on a tightrope.

what i would say is that the hips and below are damn near perfect. try focussing on the shoulders and their movements. on the walk towards the viewer, they almost look stiff, maby you could try to put a bit of a sway in them. also, you could try to suffer through a couple of episodes of "Americas Next Top Model" and take some notes. eh it may help, idk. lol but overall i like it. ^_^ lol

I'll say that I can definitely see improvement even from the last one. It's fun to watch you improve. I'm interested in 3D animation myself, so if I do go down that path I can see myself going through this same process when learning to do walk cycles. The one thing I know for certain about animation at this point is that lifelike movements are quite difficult to nail, especially at first. Nice job
