Interesting map. From "Sumerian," I'm guessing Bronze Age, and it looks the part. Major economic cities are far apart, far enough that no nation has more than one (and several have none at all). It doesn't seem to note any market towns, which is odd but not that abnormal. Guralkar looks to be on the far side of mountains from water lanes, which is an oddity - I'd love to know that explanation.
Very well designed, easy to survey and get quick context.

Thank you.
I don't have any additional information on the setting.

Rob from Hamburg here
This is my Setting. This is the map for the big countries and the empire of Casmaron (consisting from 5 vassal states). The Cities are only the main cities. Nothing else is added, because I plan to use this setting on an long time campaign, where details, as smaller cities, may vanish throughout time.
Guralkar is the rotten city of an evil mageking, long dead. There will be a subterranean river and lake. Its like the old monastery from Dracula movies or Strahds castle (DnD).
I will use the CC3+ for my personal maps for detailed parts. But I only work on maps, that will play a mayor role in the campaign(s).
Please apologize my bad english *sorry*
If anybody has more questions, I'll try to answer

The map looks to me quite similar to the Middle Earth. Was it an inspiration for the setting?

Hi xouba,
Middle Earth is, of course, always an inspiration for good designed fantasy worlds
But in this case, its not. I drew a crude scratch and gave it to Sapiento, who filled my ideas with life.
The setting is the first of three continents. Maybe one day, I will put all the information in a blog.
