Description
I made this map for AN-KUR RPG ankur-rpg.com . It's set 400.000 years in the past in a Sumerian style setting with alien influence. The website gives a good impression of the world.Related content

Wonderful Piece! I love the layout and expressions on how our planet behaves in space .
I had stumbled across your image searching for a very specific piece of art - a "middle earth" styled, no political boundaries, accurate, modern, real earth map (for earthling use ). This is one of two candidates that is the closest I could find on the internet after over four solid hours of searching. I honestly thought someone out there had done it already and "World Map - Upside Down" by Vladstudios seems to be closest of the bunch. Though I find that I really like this bordering layout you've done here and think that is certainly one better than what I had been originally looking for, as I really am a fan of providing an appreciative perspective of, as well as an opportunity to learn about, our place in the cosmos

My only problem with this map is North America's name. Either Amerigo Vespucci is some sort of time traveler or that is one amazing coincidence.

Mayan ruins have now been found in several locations throughout Florida and Georgia. I also wanted to cater to the whole Atlantean notion. I don't know if the reports of underwater structures dotted all around the Gulf can ever be provenΒ but it makes for great fantasy none the less.
And yes, I was influenced by Sitchen quite a bit in the beginning. However, I have spent the last few years doing my own research and have made many translations and new discoveries myself. I was an ancient history major in college and also have a degree in metaphysics. In terms of a role-playing game, it doesn't really matter if any of it is "real" anyway, only that it stirs the imagination.

the map looks awesome!
I do find it kind of unusual that the game is influenced by Sitchin but it makes sense only because it is a tabletop rpg game.

Very nice! What font did you use, if I may ask? Also, is there really a prehistoric city on the Florida Keys? Since the rest seem rather historical.

Thank you! Do you mean the Latin labels or the Sumerian letters?
I'm not sure about the city in Florida, but I think some divers reported structures many years ago.

The labels. I can't read Sumerian
Do you by chance mean the "underwater road"? I've read it hypothesised that it was built by the Chinese Treasure Fleet.

I can remember that I read something about artificial looking structures under the water.
The font is Planewalker.
