A male Ruby-Throated Hummingbird.I LOVE these little guys, I could seriously sit and watch them for hours, they are so entertaining....and I have too much time on my hands.
This one was defending his territory (our bird feeder) so he was putting on an impressive display with his red throat.

Kinda curious, what focal length lens? Such a pain to shoot, but to get a good shot is worth it.

I think it is 210mm or something, I am not sure. The lens is really old, a Nikon from the 1980's actually, so I am not sure of the info and it is all manual so there is no data.

My macro lens is like that. Everyone goes "Why does the EXIF say 0 mm and give no info?" lol

I was shooting with an old lens that would give the data as like 10,000mm and the shutter would be 40,000/100,000
