this tutorial really helps a lot, especially since your pattern isn't marked other than how many of each piece to cut.
this is a really good pattern overall. I have over 10 years of sewing experience and am a Fashion design major who just loves to make things by hand and cosplay... I've been looking for a plush/chibi pattern forever that I liked and I love this one! so easy, and this tutorial is straightforward and easy to follow, despite the adorable cat interruptions.
this pattern is awesome. I just wanted to let you know

Yay! Glad they have been helpful!!
Arms I could probably do, but clothing is really particular to each plush so I'm not really sure how I'd tutorialize that. I will think about it though!

The go together so you do the back seam first and the touch the sides of the triangles together and sew them along that line on the same side of the fabric as you did the back seam. Does that help? I shouldn't have used black felt lol

Ok I have another question (sorry. >w<) Is it better/easier to make the outfit and put it on the body before you sew on the head?

SarahForde In reply to rpm1337 [2012-10-28 20:36:37 +0000 UTC]
It really depends on the outfit

I have a slight problem, the felt I bought seems very weak...am I supposed to prewash it, or is it just really crappy qquality that I bought?

SarahForde In reply to selenawatershine [2012-03-25 01:19:41 +0000 UTC]
ah it might just be crappy felt T___T Sometimes it's a bad batch. Ecofelt is the brand I think I like the most.

I'm a little confused about the back of the head/hair. It's hard for me to see what you did because of the black hair. O.o The use of white thread may have helped even though I know it wouldn't have been up to Sakky standards. Lol. I have the side sewn together but all that triangle talk got me confused about the bottom. O.o Do I need to fold the ends into triangles? Or just sew them together somehow? Oh, I wish I wasn't so easily confused! Lol.
