Description
EDITI haven't done much work since the other day, but I thought I'd update the file because, I wanted to show exactly what I meant by what I posted the other day. LOL.
First off, Blender is a program used to create 3D/CGI graphics, movies, and games. It's free, and you may download it here: [link] I learned what little I do know from online tutorials (don't we all love google?)
I put up the wire frames, which are what I move about to get the form I want. I basically move the points/lines/faces with my cursor until I get the form I want. Subsurf makes the lines I edit conform to my shape and smooths out my model. Unfortunately this does not do the work for me. The first model has like 160 or so shapes. While the model on the bottom as around 2700 or something. I add these faces myself by cutting the faces I have up (usually in half).
Hmm, it may be that it's 2am, but somehow, I don't think that clarified anything. Oh well, I'll upload the finished head when I get to finishing it, which will supposedly be soon.
Yesterday's work on my 3d model. I didn't do any work today, because I felt sick and slept most of the day. Anyway, as you can see, I've made an outline of the shape. Basically, I took a cube and divided it up so that I could get the shape I wanted. Next, I need to define the shapes of the eyes, nose, and mouth. After that I edit everything in a 'subsurf' / smooth mode which is more representative of how the end rendering will look.
I'll upload my progress as I go.

i tried to get maya cofdownloadcof but in 5 downloads none of them worked =__=
when my teacher were explaining blender for us, he had to wrote the shortcuts for us, cuz we couldn't find anything...but the problem of the education in portugal is tht they actually make teachers teach programs that they don't even know how to work...lucky me, my teacher is almost like a book of programs and he knew abouyt blender...but there was a program (similar to Flash) that he had to learn it first..and some people of my class gave some tips about it too...in this vase students and teacher learned all together...
i would like to do a human figure in 3d...my teacher would say to use poser, but for some reason i hate that program xD
i think i still prefer 2d...easier xD
