CLICK DOWNLOAD POR FAVOR.I'm so tired. I took a nap and I still want to go back to sleep =__= and I've got homework *whine whine whine*
Anyway, *cough* I submitted this to my scraps a while ago, and it is similar to the figure drawing thing I just submitted--and since people seemed to find it helpful, I'm submitting it to the main gallery. It's just the first few steps. Ah, I think the break between each is about a minute or so. Also, I had to adjust the contrast for the first few stages because they were too light... people wouldn't be able to see it.
Yeah, I'll stop posting reference stuff and put up some actual 'art' soon if I can get my scanner working again ;__; Sorry for being all late with comments. I work hard during the week.. and I only got the internet turned on recently.

awesome, ive been looking for something like this for quite a time
i too begin my sketches with a quick set up of sticks to get an idea of the display of the bones and then wrap it with "meat" and didnt know if it was the best aproach

(If you don't mind me asking - how did your drawing turn from the darker outlines that are part of your base sketch to turn lighter in the middle of the process? Did you just erase them or..?)

Ah, the base drawing is so light it hardly shows up on my paper. I had to use the contrast tool to make it show up at all. I suppose I used contrast too much... I did erase some of it though. : /

Thank ya. I don't even worry about proportion when I start drawing XD It's just that I focus a lot on the 'flow' of my marks in the beginning. I can always go in and fix the length of limbs of stuff later...*cough* like fixing the way the leg and arm were turned. I dunno, line is my favorite element of art so I concentrate on it a lot ^^''
