Just a quick question..
With all the shading that you do, do you put something on your sketches to stop them from smudging into each other like putting fixative on each page?

LOL. I didn't realize you switched accounts... I looked through your gallery and was like, "gosh, this person draws just like this other deviant I know..."
But... to answer your question, no, I actually don't put fixative on my drawings. I will sometimes do it with finished drawings, but rarely.

Then how do you usually stop your sketches from smudging? Do you draw on both sides of the paper in your sketchbook or just the one side?

Erm, for this small book, I draw on both sides of the paper. I usually draw on the right side of a sketch book if it's big, like 8.5 in by 11 in or more, since drawing on the left side is awkward for me. I don't really have too much problem with my work smearing since I rarely use soft lead pencils. Typically, I use HB mechanical pencil.
