The second in the Weekly 90's Challenge! This week - Captain Planet! (And the Planeteers, as you can see from my pic
) I loooooved this show, and I was excited to get to draw the characters, but MAN are they hard to draw, and there's just so many colours in their clothing!
Well, guess that's the 90's for you!
For the record, Wheeler and Linka were my favs, and should have totally hooked up.

Hmm...don't think I ever saw this one...but then I don't remember much of the shows from the 90s...just the ones that were played on PBS...>.> Great drawing though...their clothes look so cool! Wonderful work here!

Awww, Captain Planet was so much fun! Cheesy goodness, and all about the environment! The clothes were interesting, it's been a looooong time since I've drawn any 90s style clothes - the colours are so vibrant!

Lol. Linka and Wheeler were my first ship I think, even before I knew what shipping was. And understandably, were the easiest to draw here because they were my favs.
I agree though, there definitely needs to be more CP fanart around here!

Darn straight! I can't remember my very first "ship" (first time I've used that word!) but Linka and Wheeler had to be close to the first, if not the first. Gambit & Rogue might have come before them, but I can't recall...

I wish they would revamp it for the 21st century! That would be the sweetest thing EVER! They sometimes show it on Peachtree, or something similiar. I was watching it last year. Though it would be like earrrrrly in the morning...
