Home: Neigh-Beyul, The Far East

Occupation: Silk Master, Lucky Cricket Keeper, Entomologist

Personality and Info:
Very calm and reserved, Gū yán is a friendly soul who really is a down to Earth kind of male.
He runs a silk supply farm, and tends to thousands of Silk Moths, their Larvae, as well as a sect of Golden Orb Spiders. He harvests the silk and weaves them into long rolls and sheets of the finest silk in the land. On the side he also runs a Lucky Cricket pet shop and sells Lucky Crickets to happy homes. He really enjoys studying insects and arthropods. In his spare time, he likes to walk among the trees and find new insects, and smoke his grass pipe while listening to his crickets sing.

Gū yán was initially part of the original designing of the Earth Qilin examples that you can see here: MLP FIM: Earth Qilin , but after some time, I started to develop personalities for some of these basic designs and they evolved into part of my main cast. ^^ He is like the Fluttershy of Neigh-Beyul, but only keeps insects and spiders in his home.
